This section also contains all past press releases issued jointly by CEER and the European Regulators Group for Electricity and Gas (ERGEG) during the years of ERGEG's existence (2003-July 2011).  ERGEG was set up by the European Commission as its advisory group on Internal Energy Market issues and was the forerunner to ACER. CEER acted as a preparatory body for ERGEG until ERGEG's dissolution on 1 July 2011.
