    Special 5th GTM Workshop
CEER Draft Vision for a European Gas Target Model

The 18th Madrid Forum (September 2010) invited the European Commission and regulators to explore, in close cooperation with system operators and other stakeholders, the interaction and interdependence of all relevant areas for network codes and to initiate a process establishing a gas target model. Regulators chair and coordinate this process.

European Energy Regulators organised four stakeholder workshops between December 2010 and June 2011:
1st Gas Target Model workshop, 3 December 2010, Vienna
2nd Gas Target Model workshop, 22 February 2011, Bonn
3rd Gas Target Model workshop, 11 April 2011, London
4th Gas Target Model workshop, 28 June 2011, Brussels

Based on the results of the previous Call for Evidence (November 2010 - January 2011), the four public workshops and bilateral discussions with stakeholders, CEER presents now a vision for the European gas target model for public consultation.

Stakeholders are invited to participate in the public consultation via a dedicated online questionnaire in this section of the European energy regulators´ website. Please note that only answers submitted via the on-line questionnaire will be taken into consideration.

CEER invites all interested parties to provide comments to the consultation document - and in particular to the list of specific questions set out in the consultation document.

Any comments should be received by Tuesday, 20 September 2011 through the dedicated online questionnaire. Please note, that the login request to fill in the questionnaire must be sent by Friday, 16 September 2011.

Following the public consultation period, CEER will publish all responses received from stakeholders that are not marked as confidential. Respondents requesting confidentiality should submit those confidential aspects of their response by marking them as "confidential" in the dedicated online questionnaire.

Any questions on the consultation document and the online consultation should in the first instance be directed to:
