| International Strategy Group (ISG) The International Strategy Group (ISG) is responsible for establishing and maintaining relations to counterparts from third countries in the field of energy regulation. The principle aim of creating an international network is the exchange of regulatory best practices across the globe and the provision of specific regulatory advice if requested. The European energy regulators’ are keen on widening their international network, whilst deepening existing relations. In 2013, the International Strategy Group is organising a series of important international high-level meetings with the regulators from Russia, Latin America and the US. At the same time, the ISG is focusing on specialised workshops on issues of interest to regulators from the more immediate European neighborhood, particularly from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and the Southern Mediterranean Countries.
